Everyone needs a happy home
and here on this page,
we wave goodbye to some
of the products we have loved as we send
them off with their tiny gifts for their new owners.
As much of what we make here at 'Susannah Allen'
are one of a kind pieces, farewells are filled with heartfelt sentiment
as these pieces shall never be created again.
They live on somewhere in undisclosed locations,
(well, we disclose their state or country)
in their solitary beauty, enhancing the lives
of the customers who chose to adopt them.
May they bring not only their tiny gift to their new owner but joy
and satisfaction as well!
(Scroll slowly as these wonderful photographs and their text load for your enjoyment.)
Our Very First Apron,
the begining of a Very Fun Collection...
Our first doll scuptures, standing like precious china, these Victorian Bridesmaids adorn the living room of a wonderful German woman who wouldnt let them be separated.
Our first attempt at unrefined curly wool roving hair.We decided we liked it and it is now our standard...(on most days, unless something really interesting comes along that we have to play with). Clarissa now lives in Vermont with the artist who adopted her.

Morrison, our first Bear, now lives in Europe.I heard he did well on the very long flight home.

Amish Amy inspired us to apply a more artistic hand to our photography.

Our First Baby Bear lives nearby and visits often.

Our first Carpet Bag, created from an antique tapestry, the last one of the series is still carried by the designer.

The Peacock Linen Carpet Bag, so popular, sold out so fast, oh to only find more of this wonderful textile!

The first hat where we discovered that you can mix crochet, knitting, scallops, pom-poms, stitching and weaving all into one piece and have people buy it!

The Beginning of our Hat collection; our first hat, at our first show on our first styrofoam head.
Patty, our first eBay sale, now lives out West.
more to be added later....
